Verbs in Sentences
- Just like in the English language, verbs exist in the Arabic language. A verb is usually called "فعل" (fe'l) in Arabic.

ادرس (idris)
العب (il'ab)
اصرخ (isrokh)
اركض (irkodd)
- In Arabic, there are two types of sentences:
1) Noun Sentences (explained in previous lesson).
2) Verb Sentences
Verb Sentences:
- Verb sentences are sentences that start with a verb.
A verb sentence consists of:
1) A verb
2) An action-taker (the person that takes the action/verb).
For example:
1)
Eat your food, Ali.
2)
.كل طعامك، يا علي (Kol ta'amak, ya Ali).
Buy the phone, Yasser.
.اشتري الهاتف، يا ياسر (Ishtari al hatef, ya Yasser.
